A happy customer...
This is Steve with his early 80's Squire Stratocaster. This guitar had the fret board destroyed. :(
We ended up removing it, replacing it with a new rosewood fret board. The original board had 21 vintage style frets and cream coloured position markers. We made this one with an overhanging end like newer strats, installing 22 vintage style frets, a bone nut, and putting in abalone position markers. The damage was well into the maple neck shaft, so a little maple was removed to provide a flat gluing surface. As a result, this guitar now has a neck substantially thinner than the average strat.
Steve's happy, he wrote this axe off, never dreamed he'd be playing it again. Now it's a one-of-a-kind.
