"Chambered" Solid-body Electric

Jarrah top, Black Cherry Back, Hard Maple Neck, Gibbon Ebony Fret board.

Another electric.  This one is more like a Gibbon Les Paul or Gibson Hawk in size and shape.  Unlike a Gibson, it will have a 25.5 inch scale length.  The body is made of Book matched flame Jarrah wood from Australia laid out in a chevron pattern.  The back is Book matched Canadian Black Cherry.   The insides of both the top and back have been Chambered (routed out) to a 3/16th inch thickness and leaving the sides at about 1/2 inch wide, giving this guitar a very light weight.  The neck is AAA Flame Maple, will be a Lap-Joint body joint, and carved to a smooth transition maintaining the shape of the neck all the way to the body at the cutaway.
