Guitar #004

Acoustic Dreadnought.  Solid Honduras Mahogany back and sides, solid Sitka top, Ebony fret board and bridge.

Completed Dec 8th, 2004

Inspired by the classic Martin D-18, this guitar employs scalloped bracing, with the addition of reverse kerfing, and an old fashion French Polished finish.  The result is incredibly powerful projection, clear bright high notes and rich warm base.  Ebony and Abalone shell detailing provides the eye candy to complete the package.

"Dear Harold

I guess I am the proud owner of one of your guitars. I was at the pub last night with James Anthony and heard him play it. ...loved it. ...bought it then and there. I have several guitars including Martins, Larivee and Laskin etc. I loved the tone of this one in particular and it feels wonderful to play. I will enjoy it for sure. Most of my music is acoustic based and I look forward to giving it a place on my next recording project.

Sincerely,
Scott Cameron Smith
